Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo is the birthplace of snow sculpture art in China and the world's largest snow sculpture art group. In order to welcome the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and the much-awaited 2022 Beijing-Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics, this Snow Expo has specially designed and built the 'Winter Olympics Symphony' division, the world's first large-scale real-life 3D phantom snow show 'Snow Dance Room on Sun Island' will be performed in this area, providing tourists with performances and experiences of Winter Olympics sports. 

 The snow consumption of 'Ode to Snow Winter Olympics' reaches 60,000 cubic meters, the total length is nearly 300 meters, and the human body height reaches 35 meters. The length and height are the highest in previous Snow Expo. It consists of three groups of snow carvings: Snow Song, Snow Banquet and Snow Spirit. Its human image shows that the girl skier slides down from the top of the snowy mountains with her arms stretched out, and her wings stretch in the air against the backdrop of snowy mountains, cedars and snowflakes. Express good expectations for the Winter Olympics. The main sculpture of this year's Snow Expo is connected to a large snow slide. Tourists can also experience the excitement of playing snow slides while appreciating the huge snow sculptures. Zhang Yuanfei, a tourist from Jiangsu, said: 'I like this snow sculpture very much. It is based on the Winter Olympics and can be watched and interacted. This is the first time our whole family has seen a real snow sculpture. It feels so beautiful.' The theme of this year's Sun Island Snow Expo is 'Snow Expo Ceremony'. It plans to cover an area of 900,000 square meters and use 110,000 cubic meters of snow. It is divided into five major divisions: 'Dragon and Phoenix Welcome','Snow Rhythm Playing', and 'Dream Back to Snow Expo','Beiguo Customs', and 'Winter Olympics Symphony'. It is planned to form a scenic spot layout that is connected to each other, has its own functions, and gathers swimming and viewing lines.
